Jill C. Kovar
Ms. Kovar has been associated with the firm since May 2002 with a background in bank operations, regulatory compliance and consumer lending.
Ms. Kovar is a 1993 graduate of Whittier College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. She later obtained her Juris Doctorate from Western State University College of Law, and attained admission to the California State Bar in 2001. Ms. Kovar is also admitted to the Supreme Court of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to joining Aldrich Bonnefin & Moore, Ms. Kovar was employed as both a Law Clerk and a Compliance Consultant with the California Credit Union League from 1998-2002. In addition, she earned certification as a Credit Union Compliance Expert through the Credit Union National Association’s professional development program.
Ms. Kovar is a frequent speaker for the Bankers’ Compliance Group® and the California Bankers Association Regulatory Compliance Conference. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. Ms. Kovar currently serves as Vice-chair for the Consumer Financial Services Committee of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California.
